RADISHES AU GRATIN' /NGREDIENTB: One bunch of radishes, half pint white sauce , 2os of grated cheese, brown bread cr mbs, owe tablespoonful of chopped parsley, salt, pepper. Method : Cut the tops and any r Is from the radishes, wash well, scrape, and then cut them into fairly thick rticcs. Put into a pan of boiling seftted water, and boil until tender: strain. Make half a pint ■ ' white sauce, put in the tadu.n.rs. and reheat them. Stir in half the cheese. Season and put into a greased dish, sprinkle the rest of the cheese and the bread crumbs over the top, put small pieces of butter here and there over the top, and brown lightly in the oven or under a griller. Just before serving sprinkle irith the chopped parsley and serve rery hot.
