MAH AN A AT PANAMA.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Mahana is reported to have reached Panama last Thursday. CANADIAN TRANSPORTER AT NEW YORK.—The Canadian Transporter, which left Auckland for New York, Boston and Halifax on February 4 is reported to have reached New York last Thursday. MAHANA AT PANAMA.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer JVlahana is reported to have reached Panama last Thursday. The vessel is en route from New Zealand to London. She was dispatched from Bluff on February 20. HORORATA FOR HOME.—Efforts are being- made by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company to dispatch the steamer Hororata from Auckland on Thursday for London via Panama. The vessel is at present filling up at the Queen’s Wharf. THAMES TROTS.—The Northern Steamship Company advises that the Rangitoto will be dispatched at 10.30 a.m. on Friday for Thames, leaving there on the return trip at 4.30 p.m., the same day. She will sail again for Thames at midnight on Friday, leaving for Auckland again at 6 o’clock on Saturday evening. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER.— En route from Halifax to New Zealand the Canadian Challenger is reported to have reached Colon last Thursday. The vessel has cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about April 11 MAUI POMARE FOR NORFOLK ISLAND.—Besides mails and cargo, the Government motor-ship Maui Pomare, which leaves Auckland at 5 o’clock this afternoon for Norfolk Island, is taking the following passengers:—Mr. W. Shortly before 7 o’clock this morning the Huddart-Par leer’s intercolonial steamer Ulimaroa arrived in the stream at Auckland from Sydney, and later berthed at the Central Wharf to land her passengers, mails and cargo. ORONSAV AT FREMANTLE.—The Orient liner Oronsay arrived at Fremantle from London yesterday. She is scheduled to reach Sydney on March 28. KEKERANGU FOR SYDNEY. The local office of the Union Company advises that the cargo steamer Kekerangu, which is discharging Southern cargo at the King's Wharf, sails to-morrow for Sydney. GOLDEN BEAR FOR AMERICA. Henderson and Macfarlane have been advised that the American steamer Golden Bear, now completing her discharge at Timaru, leaves there on Friday for Honolulu and San Francisco. tRIS RETURNS.—The Pacific Cable Board’s repair ship Iris returned to port at 6.30 a.m. this morning, and is now moored to her buoy off Devonport. She has been repairing and laying lengths of new cable in Cook Strait. TOFUA FOR ISLANDS.—At 11 a.m. next Saturday the Union Company’s Island passenger steamer Tofua is to be dispatched from Auckland on her monthly trip to Fiji, Tonga and Samoa. The vessel takes passengers, mans and cargo. RONA LEAVES SUVA.—Cabled advice received by the Colonial Sugar Company states that the Rona left Suva at 8 o'clock last evening for Auckland, where she is due on Saturday evening. After discharge at Chelsea, the Rona proceeds to Sydney to complete. NIAGARA FROM VANCOUVER. —Due at Auckland Monday next from Vancouver and way ports, the local office of the Union Company advises that the R.M.S. Niagara is to be dispatched at 10 o’clock the same evening for Sydney, where she is due the following Friday. TAMAHINE SLIPPING.—The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the ferry steamer Tamahine is to be slipped to-morrow at Wellington for cleaning and painting, consequently she will now leave Wellington at midnight to-morrow for Pieton instead of 3 p.m. WAIOTAPU AT VANCOUVER.—The Union Company’s trans-Pacific steamer Waiotapu is reported to have reached Vancouver from Auckland last Saturday. The vessel is to load at Pacific Coast ports for Papeete, Wellington, Lyttelton. Melbourne and Sydney. She is to leave Los Angeles for Papeete on April 6. TRONGATE REPORTS. According to a radio message received by Spedding, Limited, the steamer Trongate, en route from Java and Port Bowen, is expected to arrive at Auckland on Sunday evening, March 24. The Trongate is bringing a cargo of raw sugar for discharge at the sugar works at Chelsea. MARAMA AND MAUNGANUI. The Marama arrived at Sydney at 5 a.m. today from Auckland, and the Maunganui an hour later from Wellington. Both vessels leave the New South Wales port at 3 p.m. on Friday, the Maunganui for Auckland, and the Marama foi' Wellington. Next Tuesday morning they are both due at their arrival ports. NORFOLK LEAVES LIVERPOOL.— The Federal Line steamer Norfolk was dispatched from Liverpool last Saturday with a cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. She is due at Auckland on April 25. The New Zealand Shipping Company is the local agent. TAINUI AT COLON.—The Shaw. Savill and Albion liner Tainui is reported to have reached Colon last Saturday, en route from London and Southampton. The vessel has passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand. The cargo will be unloaded at Wellington and Auckland. She is due at Wellington on April 5 and at Auckland about April 12. A. S. Paterson and Company, Limited, the local agent.

RARANGA LATE.—Further advice received by A. S. Paterson and Company states that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Raranga which is en route from Home, via Africa and Australia, is now expected to arrive at Auckland on March 27 from Gladstone, instead of March 22. The vessel is bringing- cargo from Capetown for discharge at this port. AELYBRYN WITH PHOSPHATES. Advice has been received by Henderson and Macfarlane that the steamer Aelybryn sailed from Nauru Island on March 14 with a cargo of phosphates for discharge at Auckland and Wanganui. She Is expected here on March 25. The Aelybryn is a new vessel owned by the Brynmoor Shipping Company Swansea. She was built last year by Lithgows, Limited, at Glasgow. KEELUNG REPORTS. According to a radio message received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the A. and A. Line's chartered steamer Iveelung is now expected to arrive at Auckland at daylight on Friday from New York. The vessel has cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wanganui, and will unload the local portion at the Prince’s Wharf. WAIHEMO DUE 9 A.M. TO-MORROW. —A further radio message received by the local office of the Union Company states that the transpacific cargo steamer Waihemo is expected to arrive in the stream at Auckland at 9 a.m. to-morrow from the Pacific Slope. She will berth at the Queen's Wharf to unload the local portion of her cargo before proceeding to Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney to complete. MATAROA'S ITINERARY.—A. S. Paterson and Company. Limited, has received advice that the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Mataroa is due at Opua from Wellington next Friday and at Auckland next Tuesday. After loading a large quantity of refrigerated and general cargo at Auckland the vessel is to leave on April 2 for Picton and Wellington to complete her cargo. She is due back at Wellington on April 6. and she is to be dispatched from that port for Southampton and London, via Panama, on April Id.
