FIJI FEELS QUAKE
RECORDED BY SEISMOGRAPH (From Our Own Correspondent) SUVA, March li.’. At 10.55 p.rn. on Saturday last the Arthur’s Pass earthquake M as recorded by the Suva seismograph. The first shock was felt at 10.55, the shocks continuing for about two or three hours. New Zealand and Fiji time was then the same, owing to daylight saving being still in operation in New Zealand.
