ANNUAL MEETINGS HELD GRAMMAR OLD BOYS’ CLUB There were about 60 members present at the annual meeting of the Grammar Old Boys’ Club last night. Mr. PI. J. D. Mahon presided. The annual report stated that the club had experienced a good season, although no team was successful in winning its grade. The teams, however, had all finished well up the lists. Two club members, A. Knight and W. Batty, gained All Black honours, while the following represented the province: I. Cathcart, L. Knight. R. Schnauer, C. E. O. Badeley. The bal-ance-sheet showed the club to be in a sound financial position. The following officers were elected: Patron, Messrs. IT. J. D. Mahon, F. W. Gamble, IT. Littlejohn: president, Mr. O. Nicholson; vice-presidents, same as last year; lion, secretary, Mr R. L. Farrell; hon. treasurer, Mr. W. Batty; as-sistant-honorary treasurer, Mr. H. Gardiner; club captain, Mr. D. Wright; delegate to Junior Management Board, Mr. F. Lintott; delegates to Auckland Rugby Union, Messrs. C. E. O. Badeley, A. Belcher, S. Cleal: management committee, Messrs. C. E. O. Badeley, D. Bell. A. J. Billington, S. Cleal. S. Conyngham, W. Frankham. F. Olsen; delegate to Old Boys’ Association, Mr. P. Potter: senior selection committee, Messrs. D. Wright, W. Batty, A. R. H. Francis; senior coach. Mr. A. R. H. Francis; junior selection committee, Messrs. C. E. O. Badeley. F. Lintott, D. Bell; hon. auditor, Mr. T. S. Miller. A number of new members were elected. Practices will commence on the Auckland Grammar School grounds on Saturday, April 6. Congratulations were extended to G. L. Weir, a member of the senior team, on winning the Redpatli Cup for his performances for Auckland in the Plunket Shield cricket matches.

MARIST OLD BOYS There were over 80 members and supporters at the annual meeting of the Marist Old Boys’ Rugby Football Club last evening. Mr. Maurice O’Connor was in the chair. The Grafton remit, that one delegate from each club be sent to the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union, and that all senior players be admitted to games controlled by the Auckland Rugby Union, caused considerable discussion. It was decided to leave the question in the hands of the Management Committee. Tho chairman spoke strongly on the poor allowance the Auckland Rugby Union was giving to injured players. It was decided to bring the subject up at the next meeting of the Rugby Union. Mr. Harry Frost, chairman of the Management Committee of the Auckland Rugby Union, spoke on the number of protests that had been lodged during the past season. He said that the Union was endeavouring to do away with protests in the coming season. Over 20 new members were enrolled. It was decided to hold the first practice in the training sheds, Newton. on April 2. The election of officers resulted: Patron, Bishop Cleary; president. T.
