LATE CHIEF JUSTICE

HIGH COMMISSIONER AS PALL BEARER FUNERAL IN ENGLAND Press Association WELLINGTON, Monday. Cabled advice was received to-day by the Prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward, from the New Zealand High Commissioner in London, Sir James Parr, that the funeral of the late Chief Justice, Sir Charles Skerrett, who died at sea while on his way to England by the Port Denison, will take place in England on March 20. Hitherto there has been uncertainty as to whether the remains were to be brought back for interment in New Zealand. The High Commissioner will act as a pall-bearer, and will represent the New Zealand Government.
