SIGNAL CORPS CAMP

TRAINING CQMFLETED On Sunday, the Northern Depot, New Zealand Corps of Signals, completed a period of lour consecutive week-end camps under Captain J. IT. Sull, with Captain J. H. Clifton, M.C., as adjutant. The training consisted of army signalling in all its branches and every man qualified as efficient in his particular section. With the exception of the cable-wagon section, the Northern Signal Depot will not parade again until next September, after the refresher course for officers and N.C.O.’s at Trentham. During the past three week-ends signal stations established at Castor Bay. Takapuna, Mount Victoria and North Head have participated in art organised signal scheme based as near as possible on active service conditions, various units using wireless, flag, lamp, line telegraph and ltelio systems of communicating very successfully. On Sunday the corps entertained a large number of visitors at an At Home. The guests were shown the various types of signal apparatus operated by the trainees.
