NEW STARTER WILL BE SEEN IN ACTION AT WHANGAREI Mr. J. C. Cockerton. of Dargaville, has been appointed starter to the Whangarei Racing Club for its meeting to be held next month. Mr. Cockerton filled a similar position at the Kawakawa meeting held recently, and has also acted in the same capacity at some of the local meetings. His work in this respect has always given general satisfaction.
