WIN FOR REMUERA B GRADE TENNIS FINAL GAMES AT STANLEY STREET Remuera No. 1 defeated Parnell in the pennant final of the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association's B grade interclub competition at Stanley street on Saturday afternoon, thus gaining supremacy for the season. Parnell was defeated by 6 matches to 4. Outstanding features of the match were the defeat of Mrs. Napier iltemueia> by Miss Wells, and the victory of Boardman t Parnell.) over the seasoned Watkins. Miss Wells won her match by sheer doggedness, and Boardman’s deep and vigorous driving on both forehand and backhand won the day for nim. Miss Wells and Boardman have gone through the whole competition without suffering a defeat. In the C grade play-all competition. Pukeroa defeated Unity by 6 matches to 4.
