LYNCH FAMILY

CONCERT AT TOWN HALL A novel and interesting entertainment was given in the Town Hall concert chamber on Saturday evening bythe Lynch Family-, which, after an absence of several years, opened in a return season. Tho family are all exceptionally talented, and with the supporting members of the company, received a cordial reception. Old-fashioned tunes and the latest of modern music were given by Messrs. William, W. H. and J. E. Lynch, on the silver organ chimes, a unique instrument which at one time sounded like a carillon of bells and again as an organ sweetly played. The music ranged from "Sweet Chiming Bells” to "My Blue Heaven.” The trio also performed on the delicate and difficult glassophones, playing very sweet music, both old-fash-ioned and modern tunes. Several excellent pianoforte solos were played by Mr. W. H. Lynch, who also accompanied tho vocalists, Mr. Lester Barry, an English singer-actor, tho possessor of a fine baritone voice, and Miss Pauline Kitchen an accomplished soprano, and a clever whistler. The singers were heard in solos and duets and had to answer several encores. and their humorous sketches were well received. Miss Norma Hall, dancer and com- • medienne, gave a number of clever j impersonations and Cockney mono- j logues. The Lynch Family will give three I more concerts in the Town Hall con- I cert chamber, this evening, to-morrow ■ evening, and on “Wednesday.
