FALL DOWN STAIRCASE

ELDERLY MAN BADLY HURT A fall down a staircase about noon on Saturday was the cause of serious injuries being received by Frederick Pope, aged 61, of 8 England Street, Ponsonby. Mr. Pope was admitted to hospital suffering from a fractured pelvis. His condition last evening was serious and this morning he was reported to be sinking.
