ELDERLY CYCLIST HURT When riding a motor-cycle at Greenwood’s Corner about one o’clock on Saturday afternoon, Dougall Smith, aged 61, collided with a boy riding a bicycle Mr. Smith was thrown off and received serious, injuries. Ho was taken to the Auckland Hospital and was admitted suffering from a fracture of the skull and a fractured clavicle. His condition last evening was very serious, but. thFs morning he was reported to be slightly better. Mr. Smith lives at 15 Mount Albert Road. The boy on the bicycle escaped with a slight cut on his hand.
