NEGLECTED TO TAKE OUT LICENCES Press Association WELLINGTON, Friday. For failure to take' out a licence under the Stamp Duties Act the following firms were fined at Wellington to-day:—Provident Land and Investment Oorporation, Ltd., and Midland Trust, Loan and Deposit Company, Lt-d., were each fined £2; Arcade Buildings,. Ltd., Reid'a. Colour Film Process, Ltd., and Wellington-West Coast Shipping Company, Ltd., £1; A. W. Gibson and Company, Ltd., Joplin, Stallard and Carmichael, Ltd., Mangahao Butchery Company, Ltd., Paraora Sawmilling Company, Ltd., 10s; Standard Brewery, Ltd., costs only, £1 10s 6d; Scobie and Company, Ltd., Karori Sawmilling Company, Ltd., Libeau and Dickson, Ltd., McMahon's Drivit Urself Company, Ltd., INTew Zealand Lamps, Ltd.. Belvedere, Carrington Hall Company, Ltd., were all "ordered to pay costs only, 10s.
