GLENDOWIE CLUB PROMISING REORGANISATION The proceedings by which the Glendowi© Golf Club was converted into a proprietary company, and the brighter prospects resulting from this step, were discussed at the annual meeting of the club last evening. Mr. K. Brookfield presided. The committee considered that the successful notation of the company, and the number of people not connected with the club who subscribed, were most promising signs. It was intended to push on energetically the schedule of improvements recommended by Mr. C. H. Redhead, the golf architect. An excess of expenditure over revenue of £269 during the past working year was revealed in the balancesheet. presented by the secretary, Mr. E. Nalder. The expenditure was £1,765, tli principal items being wages £315, repairs to property £l4B, rates £SB, and general expenses £75, while tho revenue totalled £1,495. Entrance fees amounted to £BB, members’ subscriptions £1,112, and interest on capital £lO3.
The election of officers was deferred until tho amendments to the rules which had been made were ratified. Tho alterations had the effect of reducing the number of vice-presidents from four to two, the office of honorary treasurer has been abolished.

Ching, while the junior title was won by Mr. L. H. Saunders. WAIHI CLUB The annual meeting of the Wailii Golf Club was held on Thursday evening, Mr. W. 11.
