DRAMATIC ENTERTAINMENT
LEWIS EADY HALL NEXT WEEK An interesting dramatic entertainment, with plays, sketches, and a spectacular children’s play, will be given in the Lewis Eadv Hall on Saturday evening next by Miss Raie Robinson and her talented pupils. Mr. Birrell O'Malley will be the soloist.
Jean Hersholt, who plays the role of Abie's father in Paramount's picturisation of the famous stage play of that name by Anne Nichols, is one of the foremost character actors on the screen to-day. He is seen during the picture first as an emigrant and t#ien as the successful proprietor of a department store. Charles Rogers plays the part of Abie, and Nancy Carroll that of the little Irish girl, Rosemary.
