Patrick | John Duggan, driver of the latter i vehicle was to-day charged with negli- . ! gent driving. The magistrate, Mr. Hewitt, held that, though defendant had committed ; a breach of the by-law in turning at t the wrong point, there was no evidence of negligence. Duggan crossed 7 carefully and the cycle hit him from behind. He found the fatality was the result , of an accident, and dismissed the ; charge.
