DEMAND FOR GOOD WOOLS
CHRISTCHURCH SALE Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. The fourth wool sale of the season in Christchurch was held to-day, when 13,190 bales were offered. Practically the whole catalogue was cleared. There was a fair selection of fine quality wools, the condition being usual for this time of the year, rather heavy, discoloured and showing dust. Bidding was keen for good wools, but irregular for inferior fleeces and nieces. Competition was general, the bulk of offerings being taken by Bradford and the Continent.
