INTERESTING DISPOSALS NEXT WEEK Some interesting and valuable furniture will be put up for sale by George Walker, Ltd., next Wednesday and Thursday, when the contents of the house, and the house itself, of the late Mrs. Carl Seegner, will be sold by auction. The house, which stands at the corner of St. Steven’s Avenue and Crescent Road, Parnell, contains some fine furniture both in period and modern styles. Among other things, an old Chinese cherrywood writing desk, a carved Pembroke mahogany table, and some good china, will be sold. The house will be offered for sale at midday on Wednesday. George Walker will also sell on Monday the furnishings of ‘"Rosedene,” 36 Omahu Road. Remuera. A valuable Player piano, good carp'ets, and much glassware, china, and furniture will be offered. The carpets are of the best Wilton and Axminster manufacture, and range from .100 square feet upwards. A valuable H.M.V. cabi - net gramophone, with many records, and an electric nine-valve wireless set, are among the offerings. In addition, an old and valuable violin and case, by Brodie. and two other good violins, will be sold. The sale will begin at 10.30 a.m., but all lots will be on view from 5.30 a.m. AUCTION NOTES Rurtherford, Robinson aqd Austin, instructed by the owner, who is leaving the Dominiorf, will sell by public auction at their rooms. Lister Building. Victoria Street East, on Friday, March 22, at 12 noon, a fine residence of eight large rooms, with modern offices and appointments, set , in glorious surroundings at 37 Clonbern Road. Remuera. The section is beautifully laid out in lawns, shrubs, tennis court and concrete paths.
