AKARANA .CLUB The following officers for the ensumyear were elected at the annual ing of the Akarana Radios' Golf Club Captain, Mrs. P. J. McCarthy; vj Crcaptain. Miss R. McGee; hon. secretar\ A. M. Darrach; hon. treasure*, Miss V. Clark; committee. Mrs. Co\ Mrs. Fearnley, Miss M. Peet. An IS-hole bogey competition for members of the Akarana Club will be held to-morrow afternoon. The official opening day has been fixed for Saturday. April 6. when a mixed foursome stroke competition will be held for a trophy presented bv Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Brown. NEW OHURA CLUB Golf enthusiasts have decided to form a club at Ohura. near Taumaxunui suitable land having been lent bv u settler. The following officers were elected; President. Mr. Hugh Thompson: vice-president. Mr. W. Milien captain, Mr. W. Milien; secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Campbell; general committee. Messrs. My Inc, Quinta.ll and Nicliolls. Mrs. Wills, Miss McClure. TE AWAMUTU CLUB The election of 'officers of the Te Awamutu Ladies’ Golf Club resulted: Captain. Miss M. Quin (re-elected) secretary. Miss K. Wallace; Match Committee, Mrs. McDonald and Misses Quin, Wallace. W. Manson and Focke; House Committee. Mesdames Barnett, Bond and McArthur. The following new members were proposed: Mrs. A. Beetham. Mrs. A. .1. Tail by. Miss E. Bay. Miss P. North. Miss M. Storey and Miss M. Cocker. WAIUKU CLUB The women members of the Waiuku Golf Club held their annual meeting on Wednesday night, the president. Mrs. W. Claude Motion, presiding over a good attendance. The following officers were elected: President, Mrs. "W. Claude Motion (re-elected); vicepresidents, Mesdames A. Duthie, Bischoff-Barriball and M. Aldred; captain, Mrs. J. Forbes; vice-captain. Miss J. Glynes committee, Mrs. Harknoss and Miss A. Neil.
