HINKLER DEFEATED
THE defeat of Hinkler in the A Melbourne Derby came in the nature of a shock to his New Zealand admirers, who appeared to think the Addington three-year-old unbeatable. From the scant word to hand, Hinkler spoilt his chances at the get-away.
