COLLISION WITH CAR
MOTOR-CYCLIST INJURED Alexander Bruce Black, of* Pali Road, Papatoetoe. when riding his motor-bike to work this morning, collided with a milk van in Station Road. Papatoetoe. He was thrown to the ground heavily, and was removed to hospital by the St. John Ambulance with a fractured knee. Through falling from a truck on the concrete roadway in Balmoral Road this morning, Arthur Burns, an employee of Messrs. Grinter Brothers, contractors, struck his head heavily. He was taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance suffering from concussion. His condition is serious.
