ACCIDENTAL DISCOVERY GOLD-DRILLER’S FIND Press Association REEFTON, To-day. Mr. G. Black, member for Motueka, who is in Reef ton. has received the following wire from Mr. John Spencer. Held geologist: “My <’ illcrs engaged in boring for gold passed through a black shale capping, releasing a large quantity of rich oil. The location of the bore is near Warwick Junction."' The Minister of Mines, the Hon. W. A. Veitch, has made special arrangements to inspect the bore before returning to Canterbury. Warwick Junction is about 15 miles from Murchison.
