GRAFTON DRAMATIC CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING HELD The annual meeting of the Grafton Shakespeare and Dramatic Club, held on Tuesday evening, showed that the club is in a sound financial position. Mr. J. W. Kealy pres-ided over a good attendance. Officers for the year were elected as follows:—President, Mr. J. W. Keajyj committee, Mrs. Lowrie MacGregor, Miss Marie Gaudin, Messrs. E. Blair, A. O. Horspool, S. M. Yallop and C. M. Rattray; secretary and treasurer. Miss C. L. Chalmers: assistantsecretaries, Mrs. Stratton and Miss N. Lush; honorary auditor, Mr. J. H. Gregory.
Mrs. Frank Turner, who has given such valuable service to the club, was elected a life member. This season the club will present its plays in the Lewis Eady Hall. Several new and interesting plays are promised.
