ORDER OF BUFFALOES FUNDS Charged with defrauding the Royal Antidiluvian Order of Buffaloes. John Ebble white, a middle-aged man, was remanded at the Police Court this morning until March 21. The detailed charge was that Ebble - white had fraudulently failed to account to the Lord Alverston Lodge, R.A.0.8., for £9 7s, thereby committing theft. The remand was granted by permission of Detective-Sergeant Bicker - dike, who said that Mr. Black, counsel for defendant, had telephoned to request the adjournment. There was no need for -bail, as Ebblewhite appeared oil summons.
