VALLAR S FINE EFFORT

Ideal weather greeted trainers at Ellerslie this morning for training operations, but so few horses are being required to race just now that the galloping was not brisk. Number two grass track, the tan, the sand and the course proper (trestles 30ft out) were available, while on the other hand jumpers were given essays over the obstacles.
