Applicants must be single men between the ages of 22 and 32, and must be Physically tit. Pay will be at the rate ol 8s 6d per diem, plus free clothing, quarters and board, or (at the option of the Samoan Administration) an allowance of 4s 6d per diem in lieu of board.
