COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Canopus arrived in the stream from Westport at 4 2.5 a.m. to-day, and later berthed at King's Wharf. The local office of the Westport Goal Company advises that she is expected to clear for Westport again at about mid-day on Friday. The Margaret W. sailed at 9.20 o’clock this morning for Whangarei and Hokianga to load for Sydney. The Canadian Winner left at 10.10 p.m. yesterday for Wellington to continue discharging operations. The Waipu is to leave for Thames at 3 p.m. to-day. She should arrive back at 1.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Waimea, which left Auckland yesterday for Gisborne -and Napier, returns here on Sunday. The Waipiata is now leaving Auckland on Friday for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The Kartigi is to sail from Auckland at noon to-morrow. Her actual destination has not yet been fixed. The Kaimanawa left Westport at 12.30 p.m. yesterday for Picton and Auckland, and should arrive here about Saturday. The Ivanna, en route from Greymouth and New Plymouth, is due at Portland at 8 o’clock this evening and later comes on to Auckland. The Kekerangu, from Dunedin and Timaru, leaves Lyttelton to-day. via Wellington, for Auckland, where she is due about Sunday. The Wingatui is loading at Dunedin to-day, thence Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington,, for Auckland. The Tregenna is leaving Auckland at 3 o’clock this afternoon foi' New Plymouth and Wanganui to complete her discharge of Makatea phosphates. The Gunbar is expected at Auckland about Monday from the East Coast and sails the same day on her return trip to Gisborne, Napier and East Coast bays. The Canadian "Winner left here last evening for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin to complete her discharge of Canadian cargo. The Rangitoto is to be dispatched for Great Barrier Island at 8 a.m. to-morrow. She is due back at 10 p.m. The Waipu is scheduled to sail for Kerepeehi at midnight to-morrow night, and should arrive back at 5 o’clock on Saturday morning. The Taniwha is expected from Paeroa at 5 a.m. to-morrow, and is to leave for that port again at midnight on Friday 111 The Claymore should arrive from Whangarei at 6 a.m. to-morrow. The Apanui is due from Mercury Bay, Tairua and Whangamata at midnight tonight. She will sail for Houhora, Totara North, Parenga and Kaimaumau at noon on Friday.
