“RIVER PIRATE” AT BRITANNIA
Sailor Frink, Marjorie Cullen. Detective Caxton, Shark, Sandy, Gerber and the rest of the colourful characters in that fascinating story, “The River Pirate,” have come to life. They are just as their author, Charles Francis Coe, pictured them, too, for Coe accepted Fox Films invitation to act in an advisory capacity, when they made a screen version of his novel. Victor McLaglen plays the part of Frink, which alone should be sufficient guarantee that this picture will please the patrons of the Britannia Theatre, when it is shown 1 there this evening. “Moran of the Marines,” the second feature, is an amusing, story of the misadventures of a. raw recruit, a role played to perfecticn by Richard Dix.
