THAMES TROTTING CLUB

HANDICAP CORRECTION LEFT-HANDED RACING (Special to THE SUX) THAMES, Wednesday. In connection with the Thames handicaps for the fixture on Saturday, March 23, a correction has been made in Ursuline’s mark in the Puriri saddle race to 24yds instead of 12yds, as previously published. The committee has practically completed all arrangements for the meeting, which promises to be a big success. The club having definitely decided to race the left-handed way round—as on previous occasions—the judge’s box is being shifted from its present position, where it was erected for the Jockey Club fixture, to suit the righthanded style of racing adopted by that body.
