MORRINSVILLE SHOW
RECORD ENTRIES (From Our Own Correspondent) MORRINSVILLE, To-day. The tenth annual Morrinsville Show was opened by the Hon. de la Perrelle, Minister of Internal Affairs, to-day. Entries were a record for the association, being 146 better than the previous year. The jumping events are being keenly contested, the competitors including the champion hacks El Arish and Toki. Other excellent features are the Jersey, Friesian and pig sections. In the former there are two exceptionally fine types of bulls in competition, owned respectively by Mr. W. H. Miers, Cambridge, and Messrs. A. Moreland and Sons, Te Rapa. The i«g section is usually weak at country shows, but there is very keen competition to-day. Everything points to an all-round record fixture. LONDON BUTTER MARKET Messrs. Joseph Nathan, Ltd.. ar» in receipt of the following cable from their London principals;—Butter, 168 s; dead slow.
