STRESEMANN MAY FALL
HIS STOCK VERY LOW EARLY EXIT FROM OFFICE (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and K.Z. Press Association) LONDON, Monday. The Berlin correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” says what are regarded as the dilatory and inconclusive proceedings of the Committee of Experts on Reparation, in Paris, may lead to the downfall of Dr. Stresemann German Foreign Minister. Never has a statesman’s stock stood so low as Dr. Stresemann’s, says the correspondent. Good judges of politics think he has no more than three months of office ahead of him. His only firm supporters are the members of the Labour Party. He has lost his hold upon the People's Party and a formidable section of the Centre Party resents his "policy of vacillation between France and Britain or Moscow and the West.” Critics consider that Dr. Stresemann should make a bid for the friendship of France and seek an understanding with Britain, even if it means jettisoning Russia. Members of the Centre Party consider that as a result of Dr. Stresemanu’s policy Germany has now no trustworthy friends anywhere.
