SPORTS AT TE KOPURU (from Our Own Correspondent) DARGAVILLE, Sunday. Good weather prevailed for the annual sports and axemen’s carnival held at Te Kopuru yesterday. The meeting was a general success. Mr. X). A. Savident (secretary) and the committee leaving no stone unturned to ensure this end. The following are the results:— AXEMEN’S EVENTS Novice Chop Handicap.—O. Dunn, 1: iu. Nidd, 2.
