Having definitely crushed the rebellion in the south the Government is now putting forth its full military strength toward the north. It is possible that a decisive battle may be fought near Torreon. The rebels announce that a drive on Mexico City will be made immediately. Juarez was quiet to-day following upon its capture by the rebels yesterday after a severe battle. There were co” —’>V casualties on both sides. Two Americans and a two-year-old girl were killed by stray bullets across the border in El Paso, Texas, and a man was found dead.
