ANOTHER RICH CARGO
NORWEGIAN WHALER C. A. LARSEN RETURNS Press Association INVERCARGILL, Friday. The Norwegian whaler C. A. Larsen arrived at Paterson Inlet at mid-day to-day after a highly successful whaling expedition to the Ross Sea. She carries a cargo of 73.000 barrels of oil. representing a catch of 7SG whales. The value of the cargo is approximately £ 364.000. The season was a .particularly good one. especially toward the close and during the trip the previous record of 1.500 barrels of oil in one day was exceetfpd. the expedition producing a greater number of barrels than this on four consecutive days. The highest for one day was 1.627 barrels.
