Obituary
MR. F. V. FITZGERALD The death occurred at Niue, on February 2. of Mr. Frank Vesey Fitzgerald, a son of the founder of the large drapery business of Fitzgerald and Company, of Hobart, Tasmania. For the last 10 years Mr. Fitzgerald was employed by the Niue Island Administration as chief of the Public Works Department and he was responsible for the design and building of the Niue Hospital, the wharf, copra chute, cargo sheds and all the Government buildings erected in recent years on the island.
He was a competent and versatile worker, being able to turn his hand to any work in an emergency, and his services are greatly missed on the island
