MYSTERY OF MAN’S DEATH Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. There is some uncertainty as to how Mr. F. D. Phipson, chief brewer of Staples Brewery. who was killed through being run over by a car, actually met his death yesterday. Mr. Mitchell, driver of the car. did not see anyone, but felt an unusual bump and, on pulling up, found the body in the road. It is possible it was lying there when the car drove along.

Miss Ngaire Phipson, the wellknown young actress, is deceased’s daughter.
