POLICE SURGEON'S RESIGNATION —Dr. D. N. W. Murray, C.M.G., D. 5.0., who has resigned his long appointment since 1913 as police and prisons surgeon at Auckland. A change of residence to St. Helier’s Bay would make it much too inconvenient for him to attend police work. Dr. Murray, an Aucklander, had a distinguished record of service in the World War.
