“PLASTERED IN PARIS” “Plastered In Paris,” which is now being shown by the Britannia Theatre, is a really funny comedy that embraces the Foreign Legion, adventures of Americans in Paris, and slieiks and harems in one big laugh. The fun-film serves as the first vehicle in which Sammy Cohen is featured, and Jack Pennick is his partner in a series of the funniest situations ever screened. Among them are the adventures of the comedians in a buried Roman city, during which they inveigle a detachment of Riff bandits into the ruins and knock them senseless and capture them one by one. as they hurtle into a Roman bath through the enormous mouth of a mastodonic idol. “The First Kiss,” which will also be shown, is a romantic drama starring Fay Wray and Gary Cooper.
lluntly Gordon has been added to the cast of “The Haunted Lady,” the Laura La Plante starring vehicle which went into production at Universal City recently, under the direction Of Wesley Rugsles. John Boles Plays the lead opposite Miss La Plante in this Adela Rogers St. John stor>.
