LYRIC

“THE PASSING OF MR. QUINN” This evening will give the final opportunity to Aucklanders of seeing “The Passing of Mr. Quinn” at the Lyric Theatre. This is a fascinating mystery picture telling of a murder which could have been perpetrated by three different persons—the man’s wife, a maid, or a neighbour who had cause to hate him. Suspicion rests on the wife, but she is acquitted and a year later marries her old friend. Dr. Alec Portal. Then, years after, a letter is found which throws new light on tlie murder and is not explained until after a series of dramatic incidents. Trilby C?%rk and Stewart Rome have the leading roles. “The Wife’s Relations,” a delightfully amusing comedy starring Shirley Mason, is also being shown.
