TRADE WITH RUSSIA
BRITISH BUSINESS MOVE MILLIONS OF CAPITAL (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 11 a.m. LONDON, Wednesday. Representatives of over 150 British firms and associations, with capital totalling millions of pounds, attended a meeting of the Angio-Russian Trade Committee, adopted a resolution stating that a delegation would proceed to Russia on March 25, and heartily supporting the efforts to promote trade by direct contact with the Russian Government, declaring satisfaction that certain of the largest British banks and financial houses approved the delegation, and urging the committee to take steps to ensure the fullest financial support for British enterprise in Russia.
Mr. Ernest Remnant said the Russian Government's attitude had been eminently friendly and businesslike.
