FIGURE-SKATING ON ICE
WORLD TITLE CONTESTED

The Prince of Wales witnessed the conclusion of the world s figure skating championship on the ice this afternoon.
The title was won by Gillia Crafstrom (Sweden). Carl Schafer (Vienna) was second, Ludwig Wrede (Vienna) third and J. F. Page (England) fourth. . The championship was instituted in IS9O. It has not been held in England since 1924, when it took place at Manchester. On that occasion Crafstrom was also the winner.
