King Makes Most of Bognor Sunshine
GOOD DAY PASSED DUKE OF CONNAUGHT BETTER British Official T Vireless Reed. 11.19 a.m. RUGBY, Tuesday. It was stated at Craigweil House this morning that the King had passed a good night. To-day was fine with bright sunshine, and only a slight wind, so that the King, who arose early, was able to walk from his bedroom to the sun room to enjoy the sunlight and warm fresh air. The King passed a good day. The sun shone brilliantly throughout the day and after sitting in the sun room during the morning, his Majesty went hack to his bedroom in the afternoon so that he could get the full effect of the sun from the western windows. Sir Frederick Ponsonby, Keeper of the Privy Purse, visited Craigweil House this afternoon at the King’s command, and submitted some papers fa his Majesty. Sir Frederick also had a long talk with the King. The King’s uncle, thss Duke of Connaught, has completely recovered from his recent slight attack of influenza, and ivas able yesterday to leave his villa at Cape Ferrat for a walk.
