Every week in London, an average of SOO people die. The figures are very constant, varying between 750 and SSO. There were 573.700 motor-coaclies, cars, lorries, buses and cycles in Great Britain in 1921. Last year the figure had risen to 1,898,500, with an income of £23,000,000 from motor taxes and licensing fees.
