STOLE A SAXOPHONE
SEAMAN GOES TO GAOL press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. Joseph Moreland, aged 32, a seaman stole a saxophone ancr case to the value of £35 from a boarding-house where he was staying and pawned it for £4. Thefts of money had also taken place and these were attributed to Moreland who, however, did not admit them. He pleaded guilty to the theft of the saxophone and was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment.
