ULIMAROA LATE.—The local office of Huddart, Parker. Xdmited, has been advised that a radio message received at Wellington from the inter-colonial passenger steamer Ulimaroa states that the vessel is expected to arrive at Wellington at 6 o'clock to-night from Sydney. REMUERA LEAVES CURACAO. —Advice has been received by the local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company that the liner Remuera left Curacao on March 2 for Southampton and London. The vessel sailed from Wellington on February 6.
PIPIRIKI ARRIVES. —The steamer Pipiriki, under charter to G. H. Scale’s, Limited, arrived this morning from Lyttelton and anchored in the stream. She is to load wool and general cargo for Dunkirk, London and Hull. Owing to the cargo not being ready for shipment the vessel will anchor in the stream. Mr. G. Wallace Bews is the local agent.
RIMUTAKA REPORTS.—Wireless advice from the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rimutaka states that she will reach Wellington from London anrl Southampton at six o'clock on Thursday morning. The vessel will land passengers and mail at Wellington, and then go to Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, and Timaru to unload her general cargo.
PAKEHA DUE TO-MORROW. —The Shaw. Savill, and Albion steamer Pakeha left Napier for Auckland at ten o’clock last night, to continue loading for England. She is due to-morrow morning. From Auckland the vessel will go to Picton and Wellington to complete loading. She is due at Wellington on March 16, and is to sail from that port for London, via Montevideo and Rio de Janeiro, on March 22.
PORT FREMANTLE TO LOAD.—The Commonwealth and Dominion Line’s motor-ship Port Fremantle left Napier for Auckland at ten o’clock last night to continue loading for England. She is due to-morrow morning. Prom Auckland the vessel will go to New Plymouth, Wanganui. Napier and Wellington to complete her cargo. She is to be despatched from Wellington for London, via Panama, on March 23. Heather, Roberton. Limited, are the local agents.
PORT NAPIER FROM LONDON.—The Farmers’ Auctioneering Company advises that the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Napier is due at Auckland from London about March 30. She sailed from London for Auckland, Wellington, and New Plymouth on February 13. The vessel has a quatTfTty of explosives, which will be unloaded at the Motuihi anchorage before the vessel comes into port.
MATAROA DELAYED.—A further wireless report from the Shaw. Savill, and Albion liner Mataroa states that she now’ expects to reach Auckland at 11.30 p.m. to-day. instead of five o’clock this evening. The vessel is from London and Southampton. She will berth at Prince’s "Wharf to-morrow morning to land pasengers and a large quantity of mail for New Zealand, and to unload general merchandise for Auckland, to the agency of A. S. Paterson and Ltd. The remainder of the cargo is for Wellington.
CANADIAN HIGHLANDER IN PORT. —Yesterday afternoon the Canadian Highlander arrived at Auckland from Halifax and berthed at the Prince’s Wharf to land her New Zealand cargo. At 5 o’clock this afternoon the vessel is to sail for Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide to complete discharge. She sailed from Halifax on January 27 and cleared Panama on February 5. Generally fair weather prevailed during the voyage. Captain P. A. Roberts is in command, and the following are the officers:—Chief. Mr. A. Kelly; second. Mr. F. C. Smith; third. Mr. N. Rathenbury; chief engineer. Mr. W. Middleton; second, Mr. .T. Mahen; third. Mr. J. James; fourth, Mr. W. Haviland: wireless operator. Mr. R. Doig; chief steward, Mr. J. Rutherford.
TRANS-PACIFIC CARGO SERVICE. — The Waitemata, from Auckland, is now due at Wellington on Wednesday, and leaves again on Friday for Melbourne and Sydney, thence to Fiji and Vancouver. The Waihemo left Los Angeles on February 23, is due at Auckland on March 19. thence to Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney.
The Waiotapu left Auckland on February 16 for Vancouver direct, where she is due on March 14, and proceeds thence to San Francisco and Los Angeles to load for Papeete, Wellington, Lyttelton, Melbourne and Sydney. She clears Los Angeles on April 6. The Wairuna left Fanning Island on February 28 for Vancouver, where she is due on March 16, and proceeds thence to San Francisco and Los Angeles to load for Auckland, Napier, Lyttelton. Dunedin, Bluff and New’ Plymouth. She clears Los Angeles on April .8. The Hauraki left Sydney on February 26 for Vancouver direct, where she is due on March 23, and proceeds thence to San Francisco, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Adelaide. The Waikawa will leave Sydney on March 14 for Newcastle, Fiji and Vancouver. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE—
