DEAD CHILD IN BUSH

Reed. 11 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. A West Maitland message states that the police are still investigating the discovery of the body of a female infant in the scrub. The body, which is decomposed, had been attacked by ants. Signs of kicking the earth indicated that the child was alive when it was left in the bush. The police, believing the mother might have become demented, are searching the locality.
