PRINCE EDWARD

“A SISTER TO ASSIST HER” “The Waterhole,” one of Zane Grey’s outstanding stories, will be shown at the Prince Edward Theatre this evening. Jack Holt has the leading role in this drama of the adventures and privations of a society girl in the desert. Nancy Carroll has the leading feminine role. Part of tlio action of this picture takes place in a great eastern city, and part of it on the Navajo Indian reservation in Northern Arizona. Exterior scenes of the production were taken at the picturesque Betatakin cliff ruins in the famous Segi Canyon in Arizona. Some of the sequences of “The Water Hole” are filmed in technicolour. The second attraction on the programme will be an amusing comedydrama, “A Sister to Assist Her.” ROYAL SHOWS RIN-TIN-TIN Rin-Tin-Tin’s latest picture, “A Dog of the Regiment,” will be shown at the Royal Theatre, Kingsland, this evening . The story begins in Germany in peace times, during which a close friendship develops among Rinty, his German mistress, and a young American. War makes the friend an enemy, and Rinty, loyal to the old friendship, braves flames and death in rescuing the American. This is the most exciting of all Rin-Tin-Tin’s pictures, and shows him as the flying hero. Tom Gallery, Dorothy Gulliver, and John Peters are prominently cast. “The Street of Sin,” starring the great Emil Jannings in a story of London slums, will also be shown.
