DRAMATIC RETURN
PILSUDSKI BULLIES POLISH DIET SERIOUS CHARGES MADE (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11 a.m. WARSAW, Friday. There is considerable excitement in the capital owing to Marshal Filsudski’s dramatic re-entry to politics, showing that he still is a virtual dictator, although he recently relinY.esterday, without warning he quished the Premiership, walked into the Senate, ordered the Press and the public from the chamber and delivered a vigorous speech condemning the Budget cuts which the Diet had made, whereupon the Senate without demur restored all the cuts.
The newspapers are also calling attention to Marshal Pilsudski’s allegation that prior to his coup de d’etat in 1926 Cabinet members used funds destined for the War Ministry in order to indulge in orgies at which they entertained their mistresses and political supporters. There is a general demand that Marshal Pilsudski should publish the Ministers’ names.
