Day, offi *ial secretary to the Governor-General, and Mrs. Day arrived at Government House from Wellington this morning. Mr. G. Baildon, Mayor of Auckland, Mr. J- Paterson, i. member of the City Council, and Mr. J. S. Brigham, town clerk, will leave Auckland on Monday for Wanganui, as delegates to the Municipal Conference. Mr. H. Holland, M.P. for Christ - rliurch North, and Mrs. Holland, who have been attending - the Methodist Conference, left this morning for Thames, where they will spend the week-end with their son, before leaving for Christchurch. Mr. C. J.
