THROAT SPECIALIST RECOMMENDS FLUENZOL

Prior to leaving: the Dominion, a N.Z. doctor, now practising as a throat specialist in Harley Street, London, recommended Fluenzol for children's diphtheria, croup and catarrh. —7.

CARE FOR YOUR HAIR AFTER THE HOLIDAYS It is after the holidays that hair shows signs of neglect. Parted from one’s favourite hairdresser for a month or six weeks has a devastating effect on the head. Sea bathing, exposure to hot sun, and salt winds are not good. A hasty encounter with a pair of strange scissors held in an alien hand will finish the damage. Once the hair has been badly cut it will take some weeks to get it into trim again. As soon as you get home again there is only one step. Place yourself in the experienced hands of your own coiffeur, and let him repair the damage done. It may mean several visits a week, but it is worth it in the end. The shingle has not disappeared. It is still to be seen, but in most cases the hair is cut rather longer.

One hairdresser in Loudon treats straight and curly hair differently. If there is a natural curl, he cuts the shingle longer. That does away with the untidy little "drakes’ tails” that are so often seen in the neck. When the hair is straight the cut is closer.
