“TAKE ME HOME” AT GRAND
“Take Me Home.” a comedy-romance with a background of stage life, is the principal feature at the Grant Theatre. The versatile actress, Bebc Daniels, is at her best in a part which she has not previously taken, that ol a chorus girl in a New York play. *Ceii Hamilton, who has played opposite Miss Daniels in other productions, has the leading male role. The story revolves round the adventures of Peggy Lane, a kindhearted chorus girl, who befriends David North, a country* boy* who has come to town to be a juggler. He secures employment witli the same company* as Pe* —”. and attracts the leading lady’, a fact which arouses Peggy's jealousy*. Manv laughable complications ensue before a happy* conclusior is reached. The bright supporting programme includes a Christie comedy, “SheGoing Sailor.”
